Vericom works with the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) to offer content on prevention, quality, and patient safety to health care organizations.
Atlanta, GA – Vericom Corporation announced a partnership with AHRQ to help make quality a priority by effectively communicating quality issues to diverse consumer audiences. Through Vericom’s SoundCare on hold and in queue communications and ChannelCare digital visual messaging, Vericom will enable
health care organizations nationwide to promote quality initiatives.
Vericom communications solutions deliver need-to-know information in real time. SoundCare and ChannelCare both provide important platforms for AHRQ’s timely and informative messages. One example is AHRQ’s new campaign that was developed with the Ad Council, called “Questions are the Answer,” which encourages consumers to be more involved in their own care to help avoid medical mistakes. “We have developed communications solutions health care providers have relied upon for years. In offering AHRQ’s quality messages and PSAs, we know our content will significantly impact a health care marketer’s ability to communicate sensitive quality information to consumers, physicians, and staff,” says Robert J. Loeb, president and CEO of Vericom.
“AHRQ has a unique opportunity to convey critical evidence-based messages directly to consumers through this mechanism,” says Carolyn M. Clancy, M.D., director of AHRQ. “This is a great way to help improve the health care of all Americans by reaching people of all racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds."
Communication helps consumers make informed decisions. “When consumers have a choice, they will enlist the services of those providers who communicate where they stand on quality,” says Loeb. “Delivering AHRQ’s quality, outcomes, risk, and benefit information via SoundCare and ChannelCare is a natural fit for the future of healthcare communications.”
Vericom Corporation has been providing communications solutions via SoundCare on hold/in queue messaging and other audio tools to healthcare providers for more than 15 years, and has recently introduced ChannelCare digital visual messaging to expand and enhance its health care communications offerings. Vericom products offer clinically correct, professionally produced, health content heard by millions of consumers, physicians, and employees contacting health care organizations each and every day.
