Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, a 450-bed nonprofit hospital in Southwest Georgia, has never swayed from its founding mission established in 1909 – to deliver the finest healthcare service to all in need and to do so at the lowest possible cost. Still, one of the most difficult challenges Phoebe Putney faces as a nonprofit hospital is how to effectively promote their mission to the communities they serve.
It is important that those in the surrounding communities understand how Phoebe Putney provides guaranteed access and a continuum of care to all individuals regardless of their financial circumstances. In order to reach a largely rural, lower income population with this message, Phoebe Putney uses Vericom’s SoundCare on hold and in queue messages as an integral part of their layered and multifaceted approach to marketing their mission.
