National Nutrition Month®
March 2008
National Nutrition Month, sponsored by the American Dietetic Association, or ADA, is celebrated to increase public awareness about food choices, physical activity, and nutrition recommendations. The MyPyramid and the Dietary Guidelines for Americans are featured as a way to make healthy food and activity choices.

The ADA is recognized as the country’s leading resource for nutritional expertise, with almost 65,000 members who are registered dietitians and nutrition professionals. The ADA promotes optimal nutrition, healthy lifestyles, and disease management.

Vericom can help you communicate cost-effectively with your internal and external customers. Here are some examples of how SoundCare can be used to raise awareness about this issue.

  • Create a SoundView with a registered dietitian
  • Create a SoundView with an individual who has received dietetic counseling or medical nutrition therapy
  • Promote your dietetic and nutritional services
